In San José you don’t see many tourists ( well we didn’t) but the locals are really lovely and will help you if you ask. We also struggled to find anywhere worth sharing with you regards to food and drink. So if anyone has any recommendations please share with us as we will be back there soon to get a bus elsewhere. There was alot of fried chicken shops!
The town itself is quite nice to wander around with local fruit and veg stores shouting as you walk by, competing with one another over who has the best deal. It has a lively atmosphere and always seems quite busy.
We had our first beer, which tends to be Imperial in Costa Rica. It is refreshing and very easy to have more then one! ( Of course we did exactly that).
